Woodside National Historic Site

www.pc.gc.ca/eng/lhn-nhs/on/woodside/index.aspx
Walk through 11.5 acres of wooded grounds, gardens, and lawn for picnics and afternoon strolls. Enjoy the lily pond and admire the Tulip tree that was believed to have been planted by John King, over 120 years ago. It is easy to imagine that it is summer of 1891. In the autumn, be dazzled by the property ablaze with fall colours. The grounds in the winter months are a peaceful place for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or just walking around and admiring the winter wonderland. The picnic shelter facility on site fits within the style of the house which is a great venue for weddings or to take photos contact 519.571.5684 ext: 26.
