VanDusen Botanical Garden is a living museum of 7,500 plant species collected from around the globe. Plants are arranged in collections displayed throughout the Garden’s 55-acres of rolling hills, lakes and waterfalls. Highlights: Spring – Cherries, Rhododendrons, Laburnums; Summer - Perennial & Meadow Gardens, Waterlilies, Heirloom Vegetable Garden; Autumn – Maple Collection, Autumn Colour Walk; Winter – Witchhazels, Viburnums, Hellebores. Feature Areas: Rose Garden, Sino-Himalayan Area, Canadian Heritage Area including First Nation Medicine Wheel, Cascadia Native Plants, Elizabethan Maze. Permanent international sculpture collection.
